Diagnosing and Treating Heart Failure in Dogs and Cats
Larry P. Tilley, DVM, ACVIM (Internal Medicine) has been active in veterinary telemedicine since 1981, when he founded a national telemedicine service. Prior to that, Dr. Tilley served as the Head of Department of Cardiology at the Animal Medical Center in New York. In 1972-1978, Dr. Tilley studied electrophysiology and arrhythmias at Columbia University. He was named the 1999 Waltham International Recognized Veterinarian of the Year. In 1989, The American Animal Hospital Association named Dr. Tilley the United States Veterinarian of the Year.
Dr. Tilley's book credits include The 5 Minute Veterinary Consult, Essentials of Canine and Feline Electrocardiography, Manual of Canine and Feline Cardiology, and The 5 Minute Veterinary Diagnostic Procedures and Laboratory Tests. He is the founder and President of several successful veterinary related businesses including a veterinary specialty cardiology/internal medicine referral business in New Mexico.
